Cocoa

The cocoa tree originates from the tropics of South- and Central America and its name Theobróma cacáo, means "food of the Gods". In the aztec empire cocoa beans were considered extremely valuable and were used for cooking as well as sacred rituals. This almost mythical plant has a rich history involving wars, adventure, love and culinary masterpieces. It is hardly surprising that the cocoa bean evokes feelings because who doesn't love chocolate?

Cocoa is a complex scent with bittersweet aromas and spicyness.
