As the days get shorter and the temperature drops, not only does our environment change but also the scents we are drawn to. Winter scents are often richer, deeper and more nurturing, reflecting the desire we have to seek warmth and comfort during the chilly months.

How we perceive a fragrance depends largely on external factors - not least the temperature. The cold makes many top notes disappear quickly, and a fragrance based on citrus and light floral notes soon loses its power. Therefore, heavier scents with heart and base notes as wood, spices and dried fruits are recommended as winter scents.
