BDK Parfums Vanille Leather

French BDK's new Vanilla Leather is a tribute to the extravagant Madagascan vanilla that gives this composition a luxurious character, full of texture and nuance, with rose pepper and violet at the top. However, despite the name, it is not a distinctive leather scent that perfumer Dominique Ropion has created, but rather a bouquet of white flowers in the form of Egyptian jasmine, sweet Indian tuberose and orange blossom that is here given a creamy sensual dimension with the help of the vanilla, while far down in the base one can sense a depth that is occupied by discreet leather and woody notes from patchouli, oak and resinous benzoin.
