Vanilla absolute

Vanilla has a long history and was discovered in today’s Mexico today. The vanilla was then the most desirable and rare spice to the Aztecs and they got vanilla instead of gold at conquest and in reparations. The vanilla was entirely unknown to us Europeans until the 1500s when it received its present name which means "little capsule" in Spanish and Portuguese. Vanilla is grown in several locations around the world, mainly in South America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. The world's biggest vanilla producer is now Madagascar.

The scent is heavy, thick, sweet and hot.
