Hair dye is permanent which means it stays on wash after wash and your usual hair colour comes back with the new hair that grows. For men with short hair, the hair usually grows out quite quickly, so if this is your first time dyeing your hair, you don't have to worry about the result - your normal hair colour will come back quite soon anyway. If you choose between two different shades, choose the lighter of the two, because it is easier to dye your hair again and make it darker than it is to make it lighter.

The colour is applied like a shampoo but should be left on for a while before being rinsed out. You will see the right result after the hair has dried. Then just style your hair as usual or exactly the way you want it.
