Benzoin

Benzoin is a resin that comes from Styrax trees, a tree family that originated in Asia.

Benzoin is a usual part of the perfume industry but also a common feature as incense in the Russian Orthodox Church. The essential oil or extract used for perfume production is extracted using alcohol and fragrance of Benzoin is warm, woody and with a hint of vanilla.
