The perfume’s name is inspired by a verse from Baudelaire’s beautiful poem Invitation au Voyage, where "Luxe Calme Volupté" is a recurring line. In this poem, Baudelaire invites his lover to follow him to an exotic place where they can live in peace and tranquility.
