Bitter orange

Bitter orange or Seville orange looks like a regular orange but the taste is very bitter and spicy, it’s actually almost inedible.

Bitter Orange originates from India where it is common in cooking, in Sweden, Bitter orange is used to flavor certain kinds of bread, but perhaps most common is Bitter Orange as one of the flavor are in mulled wine that is a popular drink at Christmas.

By cold pressing the unripefruit essential oils is extracted that give a fresh citrus scent that fells heavier and more bitter than oranges, but after a while becomes bitter, sweet and flowery than other citrus fruit.
