Thameen Insignia Extrait de Parfum 50 ml

'Insignia' (meaning 'honour') is a new exclusive perfume from the Thameen brand, created by Alexandra Carlin for the brand's 'Sovereign' collection. The fragrance is a tribute to the Order of the Garter (Garter Star), Britain's highest order, established by King Edward III in 1348 and still active - it is awarded every year on St George's Day (23 April) in Windsor. Today's Order of the Garter, awarded to Queen Elizabeth II in 1947, consists of diamonds set in a blue band with a star in the centre.

 
The Insignia fragrance has top notes of bitter bitter orange (often found in English marmalade), whiskey and fig, which then move into the heart's mix of bay leaf, geranium and damask rose. The base notes consist of suede, vetiver and sandalwood.
