Fragrance Du Bois Lucius

Lucius by Fragrance du Bois is a voluptuous, beautifully crafted masterpiece from 2024, created by perfumer Jordi Fernandez, originally launched exclusively for Harrods in London. Lucius personifies masculinity and power, a tribute to the modern gladiator, if you will - the name is also a reference to the Roman hero and warrior Lucius in Ridley Scott's epic film Gladiator 2. 

The fragrance opens with aromatic citrus notes of fresh, crisp bergamot and sweet-fruity mandarin combined with spicy rose pepper - a blend that almost creates an elegant sparkling effect, not unlike the one we recognise from the brand's summerier fragrance Solstis. The heart is graced by bright, light cedarwood and fresh orange blossom, while the base is made up of velvety, slightly earthy and hazelnutty vetiver, as well as caramelised, fiery notes from amber and a round sweetness from creamy tonka bean.

The result is a creation that exudes both strength and elegance, with a sense of unstoppable confidence and a desire to conquer the environment.
