The fragrance 1/.1, which is the first fragrance volume in the "This is not a blue bottle" band, is based on the note aldehyde, a hydrocarbon formed when alcohol is slowly oxidised, a costly process mostly found in perfumes - one of the most famous examples of this ingredient is Chanel No 5.
In 1/.1 from Histoires de Parfums, aldehyde is in the top note along with bitter orange. The heart notes contain a combo of sweet and floral with honey and geranium while musk, patchouli and amber occupy the base.
