Too sweet for my taste
This is a 1 ml handmade perfume sample that lasts 2-3 days.
This perfume from the Turkish house Nishane is a tribute to playfulness, wit and straightforward honesty, inspired by the playful character Karagoz - one of the characters in the so-called "Shadow Plays", a traditional form of puppet theater with cut-out figures that move like shadows between a light source and a screen.
The perfume opens cheerfully and lively with pineapple and grapefruit in collaboration with aromatic bouquet garni - a traditional herbal blend that is tied together in the form of a bouquet of flowers. Then the scent turns into neroli (orange blossom), jasmine and patchouli on top of a base consisting of green vetiver and agar tree - the wood that oud comes from - and amber (amber).
You can find this frangrance in fullsize, 50 ml here!
Too sweet for my taste
I was a bit unsure about Karagoz after reading some reviews, so I only dared to try a sample, but wow. One reviewer called it "Hacivat's brother with minor attitude problems" and that's accurate. I will definitely buy a full bottle.
Really like the grapefruit at the beginning. I like this, but I don't love it.
Powerful scent that is both dark, soft, and smooth. Very reminiscent of Paco Rabanne's 1 Million but more powerful and detailed to hint at its fragrance!
Very good at first but gets a sweat-like smell on my skin after a while, unfortunately.
Not my type of perfume and didn't smell particularly good on my skin.
Elegant, fresh, and exciting
