Fig

Figs have been popular with people a long time and in a range of human cultures. In Buddhism the Buddha is said to have reached his enlightenment under a kind of fig tree called Bodhi. In the Christian faith Adam and Eve were dressed in leaves from the fig tree. It was not uncommon to use Figs in medical purposes when it is said that Figs can help relieve symptoms of heartburn.

Fig extract that is used to perfume is made from seeds and tree leaves. The fragrance is woody and sweet at the same time.
