Alchermers by De Gabor is an oriental, spicy fougère, inspired by Alchermès liqueur, a spirit traditionally used in gourmet pastries such as Battenberg cake, Red Velvet cake, and the Tuscan Pesche dolci.
The perfume opens with liqueur, red saffron, clove, and fruity notes, transitioning in the heart into powdery touches of lavender and iris, alongside warm hay, red leather, and ambrette. The base is complex with oud, amber, oakmoss, woody notes, musk, and labdanum.
A unique composition where saffron and leather dominate the scent experience, with gourmand elements and fruity notes balancing an exciting, "boozy" opening.
