Sure, it works. But if you're not used to a straight razor, it's quite difficult to learn how to hold it. It's harder to use with the same hand on both sides of the face compared to, for example, a safety razor.

Oh, it's so good :) When you compare this with cheaper alternatives, you understand the price. If you're looking for a shavette that does what it should without leaving anything to be desired, you buy this one. Sure, the blades are a bit more expensive, but we're talking a crown more or less. It's worth every penny.
