Georgywood

Georgywood is a modern synthetic molecule developed by the fragrance house Firmenich, with a warm, woody and slightly amber-like character. It is designed to mimic the scent of natural precious woods, especially agarwood (oud) and sandalwood, and is often used to create a stable, clean and subtly smoky woody base in perfumes.

Georgywood is described as a "clean" and soft woody scent with subtle hints of amber and a slightly earthy tone, and is often found in fragrances aiming for a refined woody expression without the heavier, sometimes "dirty" facets that may be prominent in natural oud.
