RULES OF THE CHRISTMAS GAME There are many different ways to play the Christmas card game. Here we collected the most common rules for playing with dice.
You will need: 1 dice Mobile phone/watch (for timing) 1-3 Christmas presents per person
Preparation: All players buy one or two presents each and bring them. Usually the players decide together on a sum of money to buy.
Step 1: Put all the presents in a pile in the centre of the tables. Step 2: Each player rolls the dice one at a time. A 1 or 6 means you can take a parcel from the pile. Continue until the packets are gone. Step 3: Now the game really starts! Set the timer for about 10 minutes. If there are many people, you can increase the time slightly. The timer should not be visible to the participants. Step 4: Roll the dice in turn. If you get a 1 or 6, you can take a package from any player. When the timer rings, the time is up and it is time to open all the parcels you have collected. Step 5: Now it is time to set the clock to 5 minutes. Now that all the parcels have been opened, perhaps some gifts are more desirable than others? When the timer rings, time is up and the game is over!
