Definitely gives off the vibe of oak-aged red wine. Lots of dark berries and rose. I love it. It's so different but absolutely seductive. I understand that it's not for everyone. Definitely in my top 3 list of gourmand perfumes.
Bloody Wood from French Liquid Imaginaires is an exciting fragrance creation for those who appreciate fruity deep gourmands with hints of wood and floral accords. The "bloody" in this fragrance associates with the main note red wine and its blood red color.
Bloody Wood opens with dark fruity notes of cherry and raspberry, with a bit of bitterness and acidity, reminiscent of the tannins in a rich red wine. Pretty soon, a powdery and aromatic rose also appears, as well as undertones of oak barrel storage from woody oak and creamy sandalwood in the base. A fragrance that suits most occasions, it warms and brightens rainy days and illuminates in the fall, but also works great as an evening perfume in the summer.
