Merkur Progress Long Handle is a double edge razor with the same functions as Merkur Progress but with an extra long handle (3,35 inches compared to the regular Progress 2,75 inches) to suit the ones who have large hands or just want a razor with a longer handle.
Just as Merkur Progress this razor is provided with an adjustable system that allows you to adjust the angle of the razor head in five different levels. Start at 1 and once you have learned the technique (at least 1-2 months), you can proceed to the next step and so on. The idea is not that you get to the highest step, but rather find the setting that gives you a really close yet comfortable shave.
Manufactured in steel with a hand-tooled high-polish chrome finish. Powerful and trustworthy design made for lifetime use.

The finish was loose on the one I received. Maybe it was a Monday piece, but it felt disappointing. However, Gents sent me a new one that was in better condition, so they handled the matter fantastically.
Finnishen va släppt på den jag fick. Kanske var ett måndags ex men kändes tråkigt. Gents skickade dock ut en ny till mig som var i bättre skick så dom hanterade ärendet helt fantastiskt.

My first purchase of a safety razor! I am very satisfied and love the long handle and the overall impression of the razor. The only thing I've thought about afterward is that, since I use it in the shower, I would have appreciated a patterned handle that gives a better grip when the hand and handle aren't dry. Still gives 5 out of 5 because there’s a solution; I just use a small hand towel to dry it off and the problem is solved!
Mitt första köp av säkerhetshyvel! Jag är jättenöjd och älskar det långa handtaget och helhetsintrycket av hyveln. Det enda som jag i efterhand tänkt på är att jag, eftersom jag använder den i duschen , hade uppskattat ett mönstrat handtag som ger ett bättre grepp då handen gärna glider om den och handtaget inte är torra. Får ändå 5 av 5 eftersom att lösning finns, jag använder bara en liten hand-handduk för att torka av och problemet är löst!
