Sultan Vetiver is one of Turkish Nishane's most aromatic dark scents, whose blend of dry classic vetiver from Java and Haiti and freshly oiled leather sums up many memories of times gone by.

Thoughts fly away to the time when mighty sultans conquered Constantinople and the Arab world, but we also get scent associations to childhood wind stocks and grandfather's newly-dressed leather shoes. The very spicy notes from the vetiver root already meet us in the opening together with an upturned stiff absinthe as well as gentle chords of neroli and bergamot, which via sweetness from the tonka bean land on a base of leather and amberwood. A potent and rich homage to the old world.
