Pelargonium

Pelargonium belong to some of the same plant family as Geranium and reminiscent of the same in scent and presentation. Pelargonium was introduced to Europe during the 1600s and quickly became popular.

To obtain essential oils you have to distil its leaves and stems. The scent is fresh, green and fruity with hints of both rose and peppermint.
