XJ 1861 Zefiro is one of three fragrances that are dedicated to the 150 anniversary of Italy's unification and is inspired by the country's wealth and beauty.
1861 Zefiro is a tribute to the Baroque Rome. A sumptuous contrasting scent that starts fresh thanks to notes of bergamot, white wine, elemi and davana. The heart notes are sweet and plump; spicy notes of cinnamon and cardamom mixed with iris and carnation.
When the base note takes over has the scent become sweet and smoky with a distinct scent of incense mixed with sandalwood, honey and amber.

A more challenging fragrance than the other two in the series (Naxos and Renaissance). Very intense incense and honey give a scent that is fantastic, but hardly for everyone. You really get the feeling of standing inside a cathedral in Rome. The scent could somewhat resemble burnt rubber with floral notes on my skin up close, but from a bit of a distance, amazing. 8/10
For a classic sophisticated man. Not the best from Xerjoff, but still good.
Smells exclusive, definitely for older women.

An underrated scent that I personally like very much. Reminds me of a feeling when I was in Rome and the Vatican.
Smells good and robust without feeling old and stuffy. Might consider buying a full bottle in the future.
