Black Gemstone is inspired by Hajr e Aswad - the "Black Stone" in the Muslim shrine of Kaba in the middle of the Masjid-al-Haram Mosque in Mecca. According to legend, the stone dates from the time of Adam and Eve.
Humbert Lucas has here tried to recreate a feeling of mystery and dark, exotic power by combining a discreet top note of lemon and three different types of cedar with myrrh and resin in the heart on top of a base of olibanum (incense), teak, tar and tonka bean. The result is a fragrance with fantastic durability and enormous projection.

He is quite different, much friendlier and more pleasant than expected, from a dark beginning to fruity, to bright balsamic—a fantastic scent.
