Khôl de Bahrein by Stephane Humbert Lucas is an oriental woody perfume with resinous powdery overtones, inspired by the earliest known make-up and cosmetics in history: "khôl", which we mostly associate with the black line around the eyes in ancient Egypt.

In short, it is a fragrance inspired by the elegance and beauty of the ancient world, with amber as the most noticeable accent. We start with violet, resin from the rubber tree and sweet nougat, and then move on to powdery iris, sandalwood and amber in the heart of the fragrance. In the base we find a blend of balsamic notes and musk.
