If you buy shaving soap with a sandalwood scent, you should be aware that it smells strong, but Taylor of Old Bond is not as bad as Proraso's sandalwood soap. I couldn't use Proraso because the scent lingered with me for at least a day; even after taking a shower, I couldn't get rid of it. Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood also smells strong, but milder and better. I still wash my face thoroughly after use to remove product residue; it still smells like soap but this scent is more pleasant. The soap is very comfortable and easy to lather with the shaving brush, I like this soap.
Fantastic scent, long-lasting, and really nice foam
Classic shaving soap with a lovely and discreet scent. With a good brush, creating a nice lather is no problem.
Works well
Smells wonderful and fits perfectly in my soap dish. It's important to check the diameter of the shaving soap if you want to use it in a soap dish.
Some of the best stuff there is. Scent is mild and pleasant. If you're not getting a great lather and a smooth shave, you're not doing something right. Triple milled soaps require a little more work to lather sometimes, and the brush must be adequately loaded.
