Allow us to present a fragrance game where you have the opportunity to challenge your loved ones in your perfume knowledge. In both a playful and professional way, you get the chance to dive deep and find out what the 5 secret perfumes are. "Gents Perfume Blind Test" is a real scent experience in other words.
The rules are simple:
Only you, the game leader, have access to the game sheet and thus this text. The aim of the game is for participants to collect as many points as possible; the one with the most points wins. You can choose between writing down your guesses on paper or saying (read shouting) the answers out loud and doing "first come, first served". The winner is chosen and of course deserves a fabulous prize that the game leader arranges.
How to score points?
- 1 p per fragrance note (max 5 points)
- 2 p per fragrance family (choose between floral, woody, citrus, gourmand, oriental)
- 3 p per correct perfume house (brand)
- 5 points per correct name of the perfume
What's needed?
- Blotters (10 included)
- Perfume samples (5 different ones included)
- Paper
- Pencil
- Coffee beans (to neutralise between perfumes)
General information
- Time: From 30 minutes - infinite (understandable if it lasts for several hours as it is easy to be ironed in the perfume world).
- Number of participants: At least 2 - as many as you like (the perfume is enough for 10-15 sprays, so if you are very many, you can share blotters).
1. Acqua di parma - Arancia di Capri
A relaxing fragrance inspired by the Italian island of Capri with soothing notes of citrus in a suggestive base of musk. The fragrance is created by the Italian perfume house Acqua di Parma which is known for its unique sense of quality, craftsmanship and creativity making each fragrance a timeless classic.

- Top notes: Orange, Bergamot, Mandarin, Grapefruit
- Heart notes: Cardamom, Petitgrain
- Base notes: Musk, Caramel
2. ALûSTRE - THE SHADOWS OF BERGAMOT
An elegant perfume that is part of the brand's earthy series, but which, despite its woody, smoky elements, lets fresh, crisp top notes of bergamot and pomelo play the main role. Add exotic spices and a rounded finish with tonka bean and vanilla and you have a well-balanced fragrance that gives you that feeling of vitamin injection and refinement in perfect harmony.

- 30 ml Italicus
- 20 ml Limoncello
- 20 ml lemon
- 30 ml grapefruit
- 3 drops of fennel tincture
- 2 ml Laphroaig
3. Widian - Black I
A perfectly balanced blend of spices, incense and woods that is stylistically easy to wear for most people attracted to the mystique of the Orient. Black I opens with a subtle spicy compote of cardamom and cinnamon at the top. In the heart notes we find incense and woody cypress that give the fragrance both depth and elegance, while sensual musk combined with woody notes from cedar and sandalwood make up the base.

4. Profumum Roma - Dambrosia
Dambrosia is a timeless fragrance that reflects a joyful and festive evening with friends, filled with laughter and good food. Notes of pear, almond and grapes are mixed with fig and sandalwood. A perfume that is ideal for both women and men.

5. Nasomatto Baraonda
Nasomatto's Baraonda is a soft buttery vanilla scent with hints of dates and banana along with a smooth pear cognac. A woody scent that takes you to an open fire that creates harmony and warmth. The smoky dark notes are complemented by the elegant rose and musk.

Drink recipe: Bitter Mess
- 30 ml bourbon (Bulleit Rye, rye whiskey in charred oak barrels with hints of vanilla fudge)
- 20 ml Diplomatico (sweet rum with hints of vanilla, cinnamon and fudge)
- 20 ml Carpano Classico
- 2 drops of bitters
