Lophiel is more than a perfume house - it is an emotional journey, embraced by heritage, ambition and artistry. With its Swedish origins, its unisex philosophy and its roots in French perfume tradition, Lophiel delivers an elegant and emotional fragrance experience - where each scent becomes a portal to personal experiences and memories.
In 2022, Lophiel Perfume House was launched – a niche perfume brand founded by Swedish-Iranian scent designer Ramin Norouzi. It all began with a family dream: the vision of creating Sweden’s most exclusive fragrance house, merging Scandinavian sustainability and quality with the legacy and craftsmanship of French perfumery.
Ramin’s grandfather Mousa had met a perfumer in his youth who suggested he start a perfume house under his own name, but the dream remained unfulfilled. Before his passing, he asked Ramin to carry out this vision.
After his grandfather’s death, Ramin set out on a journey through southern France with the goal of formulating scents using selected raw materials based on emotion, character, and personality. The name Lophiel comes from the “angel of beauty,” and all the perfumes in the debut collection The Scent of Angels are named after different angels – each with their own personality and traits.

Lophiel has high ambitions: to offer timeless elegance, a luxurious lifestyle with a focus on sustainability, and to preserve in each bottle a feeling, a memory, and a story. In short, the goal is for the perfumes to create lifelong memories.
The fragrance compositions are developed in collaboration with French perfumers, including Sébastien Lacouture and Helene Vonesch, and the brand uses ingredients from the world’s leading fragrance regions. The aesthetic is a hybrid: Scandinavian purity meets French elegance – exclusive and soulful. All packaged in beautifully minimalist glass bottles of classic design.
COLLECTIONS AND FRAGRANCES
Lophiel’s perfumes are inspired by different angels and emotional character traits and are divided into two collections:
Privé Collection – a collection in elegant, golden bottles, consisting of amber- and wood-based scents that express mystique and strength, with elements of gourmand and rich complexity.
Cassiel, for instance, is a tribute to the Angel of Passion, with warm, creamy, and distinctive notes, while Lophiel is dedicated to the Angel of Beauty, with citrus, floral accords, and exotic, decadent praline.
Lophiel Collection – a series presented in silver bottles, offering fresher, greener, and fruitier tones, with a focus on floral and elegant compositions.
The scent Sablo is called The Scent of Power – fresh, sporty, and full of energy with mandarin, lavender, and powdery orris, while Maniel is The Scent of Joy, with cheerful notes of lychee, vanilla, and flowers.
Lophiel presents itself as gender-neutral. All fragrances are intended for both women and men, aiming to highlight the wearer’s inner strength, beauty, and self-love – regardless of age, ethnicity, or gender.
