OUD - OUR 4 FAVORITE SCENTS
Gents focuses
In recent years, the fragrance note Oud has increased significantly in popularity. Most perfume houses today have their own interpretation of Oud. Oud (or agarwood) is one of the world's most exclusive perfume ingredients, with an aromatic and full-bodied scent and a market value that is on par with gold. No wonder Oud is a popular ingredient. In this article we highlight 4 Oud favorites in our range.

BYREDO - OUD IMMORTEL
This is a perfect entry-level oud for those who want to get acquainted with the concept. The pleasant price tag and dry dark spiciness make it a nice gateway to the softer Oud. Oud Immortel was created together with Oud Accord as a fragrance series dedicated to the wood oud. Oud Immortel is an oud-inspired perfume that works both during spring and summer due to its crunchy resinous wood chords. The top notes consist of spicy cardamom and incense that turns into the heart's dry wood fibers from rosewood, patchouli and papyrus. In the base we find moss and tobacco leaves.
Xerjoff - Zafar
Here we have one of the dirtiest barnyard Oud-scents in the world for those who prefer Oud from India and Laos. The scent took three years to develop and of course the solid work is reflected in the scent. Healthy, peppery notes mix with white flowers and end with a lovely, woody base of wood, incense and musk.
Di ser - Hasunoito
With Hasunoito we go up a price range, but we are undoubtedly talking about value for money. 100 percent natural perfume with elements of Kyara oud (Vietnamese oud) with no animal elements but rather earthy and woody. Oud is mixed here with floral notes such as water lotus, rose and jasmine. The scent is daring and suits those who want something a little extra, because the scent will not go unnoticed.
Fragrance Du Bois - Pure Oud
The crown jewel in the collection is Pure Oud from Fragrance du Bois. The incredible depth and fullness make it one of the best that exists on the market in the oud category. As the name suggests, it contains 100 percent pure oud mixed with alcohol, i.e. no added fragrance notes but only the oud's own natural character in this case fermented fruit, leather and "petrol". The oud oil in this perfume comes from Fragrance Du Boi's own plantations, which means that production can be guaranteed to be 100 percent pure, organic and ecologically sustainable. The quality of the scent is noticeable. Pure old bottled oil at its best.
For every 50 or 100 ml bottle of perfume sold, at least two trees of different species are planted to ensure the presence of this precious wood, which is clearly a plus on the edge of an already fantastic scent.
