Thameen Patiala Extrait de Parfum
Patiala is a sweet floral fragrance from the 'Treasure' collection by Thameen London, inspired by the mythical precious necklace of the same name, created by Cartier in 1928 for the Indian Maharajah Bhupdinder Singh of Patiala. The necklace consisted of five chains and links with diamonds and rubies, and at its centre was the seventh largest diamond in the world at 234.65 carats. The jewellery disappeared under mysterious circumstances in 1948 and since then its various pieces have appeared at auctions around the world. As a tribute to this masterpiece, Thameen has created a perfume intended to evoke power, mystery, vitality and a sense of luxury in its wearer. The perfume opens with high-energy citrus and aldehydes, followed by fruity orange blossom and rose in the heart notes. The base consists of oakmoss, amber and musk.
