Trudon Figuerie Scented Candle
Figuerie Collection
Inspired by the Figuerie of the royal kitchen garden at Versailles, this fragrance captures the scent of a fig tree in the first light of spring.
Louis XIV had a well-known passion for figs. His gardener Jean de La Quintinie planted more than 700 fig trees in the royal kitchen garden at the Château de Versailles, creating a dedicated space known as the Figuerie.
La Quintinie also perfected advanced cultivation techniques, including espalier planting along sun-warmed walls, allowing the fruit to ripen even in the cooler climate.
The fragrance blends fresh fig leaves and green notes with deeper woody and earthy accords – reflecting the contrast between sunlight and shaded greenhouses in the royal gardens.
Top notes: Humus Ether, Cedar Leaves, Fig Leaves
Heart notes: Capahu, Hyacinth, Green Bouquet
Base notes: Tasuki Patchouli, Moss Crystals, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean
