Tulip

Tulip is a bulbous plant of the family Liliaceae. The genus is originally from southern Europe, north Africa and parts of Asia. Garden Tulip came to Europe from the Ottoman Empire in the 1500s.

Today we associate tulips with Holland which is the main exporter of tulips and where every year organizes tulip festivals. The tulip is a very popular and decorative flower found in countless colors, both plain and striped.

The tulip has a mild, sweet fragrance.
