Wormwood

Wormwood grows wild in the temperate parts of Europe and Africa and the name is said to come from the plant's ability to cure worm infections. The plant is used as a flavoring in liquor and some wines, such as Vermouth is flavored with just wormwood.

You get the essential oils from wormwood by distilling the dried flowering herb. The aroma is green and become healthy, warm and sweet with hints of coffee.
