Acacia

There are many different types of acacia trees, but the species used in the perfume industry is the Acacia Farnesiana, also called the Needle Bush. The bush (or sometimes a small tree) grows in places where the temperature does not go below zero.

Essential oil is extracted from the flowers and the scent is said to be a mixture of violet and orange blossom with a slight hint of cumin.
