BDK Parfums Wood Jasmin EdP

Wood Jasmin from the Matieres Collection is a woody, oriental perfume with hints of amber and floral accents, created by Camille Leguay. The opening is fruity, with plum and pear as the opening chords, followed by Turkish rose, jasmine and the wormwood-like dhavanam, while the base features incense from Somalia, cypriol, vanilla from Madagascar, patchouli and labdanum. Despite the scent's exotic references, there is something in the woodiness that brings to mind classic old school and dressed-up elegance.
