The Japanese word Kanami would roughly translate to "wave of fragrance" or "wave of scent" and was created to express the changes flowers undergo with the changing seasons.

Kanami is an exclusive floral perfume created by perfumer Yasuyuki Shinohara of Japan's Di Ser that features exotic flowers from around the world. The scent starts with light jasmine, CO2 and grapefruit and transitions to sweet and floral Japanese rose, boronia, ylang ylang and lavender. The base of balsamic incense, Indian nardus and rosewood tie this floral bouquet together.
