Gifts for her

Gifts for her that get used, not put away. It sounds obvious, but most gifts for women are chosen for how they look in the shop rather than for what she will actually use, which is why they end up sitting in a cupboard. Start here whoever she is: fragrance, skincare, body care and hand care of a quality she rarely buys for herself, plus dedicated pages for your girlfriend, your mum and the woman who already has everything. If you don't know which fragrance she wears, a gift card is the one gift that never gets it wrong.

What do you give her as a gift?

Start from what she uses every day, not from what looks nice. Hand cream, face cream, soap and fragrance are the categories almost every woman uses and few buy in a premium version for themselves. That is where a gift gets noticed. If you know her well, go with something she has mentioned; if you know her less well, choose quality within a neutral category such as body care or hand care. And don't put too much pressure on yourself: a gift that shows thought almost always lands, even when it isn't perfect.

Which gift ideas work for a woman you don't know that well?

Neutral, high-quality consumables: a soap, a hand cream, a scented candle, a body lotion. They need no knowledge of her taste, don't take up permanent space, and show care without becoming too personal. Avoid perfume unless you know what she wears: fragrance is the most personal thing you can give and the hardest to guess. A gift set with several products from the same range is often the right level for a colleague or mother-in-law.

What do you give her when she has everything?

Better versions of what she already has, or something that runs out. Someone who has everything isn't short of things; she is short of reasons to treat herself, and a niche fragrance, a skincare range you can actually feel, or body care in a glass bottle is exactly that. If you want to give fragrance without guessing, the full range is under women's perfume, perfume samples let her choose for herself, and if you'd like to do it together, you can book a fragrance consultation in store in Helsingborg, Malmö or Stockholm.

How do you choose a gift based on who she is?

The relationship sets both the budget and how personal the gift can be. For a partner, the gift can be the most personal, and we have gathered everything under gifts for girlfriend. For a mum, care matters more than surprise, see gifts for mum. For everyone else: quality within a neutral category and a handwritten card. It's the card that gets kept, not the wrapping.

FAQ

Is a gift card a good idea for a woman?

Yes. The gift card covers the entire range, is valid for two years, and works both online and in-store, so she can try fragrances before choosing. It's the strongest option when you don't know her taste, and it becomes personal once the code is written into a card with a message.

How much should you spend on a good gift for her?

The amount should match the relationship, not the occasion: a colleague sits at the lower end, a close friend or family member higher, a partner highest. What matters more than the sum is that the gift was chosen with her in mind.

What's a good Christmas gift for her?

Several small products from the same range rather than one big guess. Christmas is the right occasion for the things that otherwise feel too small — soap, hand cream, a scented candle, body lotion — and three pieces that belong together add up to a whole routine. If you want to give a main gift, fragrance is what tends to actually get used up.

What should you get Mom for Mother's Day?

Something smaller and more personal than a birthday gift — Mother's Day is about appreciation. We've put together what fits the occasion under Mother's Day gifts.
