Matiere Premiere Santal Austral EdP

In Santal Austral by Matiere Premiere, organic sandalwood oil from Australia is the main ingredient, in a fragrance built on the idea of a ‘sensual white wood’. 

Sandalwood, of which Australian is among the most exclusive, is a wood with a certain velvety character and a subtle sweetness, and here perfumer Aurélien Guichard has emphasised its creaminess with a milky powdery note of Tuscan iris absolute at the top of the perfume while the base contains benzoin absolute from Laos and creamy tonka bean absolute from Venezuela.
