Matiere Premiere French Flower EdP

French Flower by Matiere Premiere is an attempt to recreate the feeling of ‘the intoxicating smell of a tuberose field at night’. 

The fact that the main ingredient of the perfume is the flower tuberose (night hyacinth) therefore goes without saying. Here, the French Tuberose Grasse, organically grown by Premiere Matiere, has been extracted both as an absolute but also by the so-called ‘enfleurage’ method, a process that uses odourless fats that are solid at room temperature to capture the fragrant compounds.  

Ginger oil from Nigeria adds a bright, woody and spicy dimension to the white flower, while Chinese tea leaf essence and a fresh pear accord emphasise the vegetal character.
