Matiere Premiere Bois d'Ébène EdP

Bois d'Ébène by Matiere Premiere is a woody, aromatic fragrance with dark hints of amber, the main ingredient being oil of Brazilian cabreuva, a wood with sweet, floral notes and often used to fix (or complement) other wood notes. 

The fragrance opens with fresh, spicy juniper and angelica, after which Brazilian cabreuva and Indian cypriol oil (Nagarmotha) create an ambery, deep main note to the perfume, enhanced with woody patchouli oil from Indonesia. The result is a woody composition that starts out aromatic, dry and smoky to develop with some creamy, nutty sweetness in the drydown.
