Pear

Pears growing on medium to fairly large trees with glossy leaves and large white flowers that has its flowering in the spring. Pear originated in Greece where it has been documented already in 1000 B.C. Pears are available in hundreds of different varieties and are usually sweet, juicy and slightly mealy in texture. Used in baking, for juice and jam, in desserts and other cooking.

The scent is sweet, fruity and more complex than apple.
